Our Lamphere girls tennis team went into their match against Regina ready to fight hard and give it their all. Even though the team didn’t officially come away with a win, the players showed determination, teamwork, and improvement throughout every match.
After the game, the coaches shared an encouraging message with the team:
“Great job tonight! Although we didn’t come away with a win, I’m proud of how hard you all fought. I love you all! Every single one of you won in our hearts this week!
The singles matches are recorded as forfeits for Regina, so those four wins, along with Athena’s and Eliah’s victories, give us a total of five wins and three losses.”
The match was full of exciting moments, especially with strong performances from Athena and Eliah. The team kept their energy up the entire time and never stopped trying, even during difficult matches.
The JV team also shared how proud they were of everyone’s effort and improvement this season.
“JV is so proud that you beat Regina! You guys did really well today! I love how everyone has improved and didn’t back down without a fight! Even if we had some losses, I think everyone did amazing! Great job, girls. I’m so proud of all of you and your hard work.”
Even with some tough matches, the girls tennis team proved that teamwork and effort matter most. Their hard work and positive attitude continue to make the school proud.
