Coachella 2026 just recently happened, running from April 10-12th and April 17-19th.
Coachella always hits us with surprises and exciting performances from celebrities that shake social media. Here are things that had the audience’s jaw drop.
BieberChella is being talked about around the whole world, and makes society officially feel like 2016 is back. Fans were so excited about seeing Justin Bieber headline a day at Coachella, because we rarely get to see Justin Bieber perform anymore, his last tour was in 2022 and stopped early because of health reasons. This made this his big return back to performing live.
Swaechella is one of the most talked about things from Coachella. Swaelee played a lot of bangers that really hyped up the audience, like Swang, Come Get Her, Sunflower, and so much more. His performance was very lively, and he had a fun time with the audience.
Major Lazer brought M.I.A out as a surprise guest, they sang the iconic song Paper Planes.
Addison Rae brought Olivia Rodrigo out as a guest.
Pinkpantheress brought Zara Larsson out as a surprise guest.
Of course, there is always some sort of scandal and drama that goes down at the music festival every year. So here is the Tea/Drama at Coachella 2026.
James Charles argued with a random person because they wouldn’t move out of the way when he said excuse me, and the person refused to move out of the way. So he tried to step over them, and he stepped on their giant boot, and the person screamed loudly to cause a scene. So James Charles was about to throw down with some random person, but walked away from the situation.
Celebrities and influencers have lately been getting shade for hiring a stylist. Claiming that a music festival event shouldn’t be treated like the red carpet, and that it is so unnecessary to spend so much money on a stylist for something you can easily style your own outfits yourself.
Ticket pricing is always crazy, this year they are $549 week 2 and $649 for week 1 for general admission. VIP tickets are costing $1,199 week 2 and $1299 for week 1. Many influencers complain about the pricing and say that if a brand isn’t taking them, they don’t think it is worth all the money and stress to participate. Influencers like Nikki Demartino expressed this online.
Tana Mongue had a pretty bad experience this year, so bad that she gave her day three week 1 wristbands to one of her random fans because she refused to go another day. Tana said that the vibes and energy people had there was so absolutely crazy and crazier than usual. Tana mentions that Coachella has always been the influencer Olympics, but has been different this year when it comes to people’s self-entitlement and do it for the gram mentality. Tana was so excited for day two for Justin Bieber and made sure to get a spot up front early in the day so she would be up front for Bieber. Eventually, as it got closer to his performance, people were acting crazy and overcrowding the area by the stage, and making jokes about how they don’t care if someone gets stepped on or even killed, and so many jokes in the crowd saying there’s gonna be an Astroworld part two. So she left her spot and went all the way to the back, because of the disrespect and danger that was going on in the artist section at Coachella. While she was having fun in the back, she mentioned that people were giving her weird looks and comments for dancing and singing at a music festival, and she just overall did not enjoy her time at all.
Lastly, there has been a lot of talk about what should be trendy to wear at Coachella and what styles and clothing pieces should be left in the past. Like Flower crowns, 2016 styles, Mesh, and Cowgirl boots. While a lot of people had this 2016 aesthetic going for their style, a lot of people were dissing on it, saying that we need to leave the style in the past and come up with new things.
