Following our story on Jordan and Nathanial, we are left with 13 seniors in the Lamphere Theatre Company. Lots of returning members and some new members make up our grand total this year! The LTC hasn’t seen this many seniors in quite some time! The last class with this many seniors was the class of 2023!
The next 2 seniors on the list are Juliette Johns and Amelia Jones! Both of these seniors have been committed members for a very long time and are definitely some familiar faces to our fans!
The questions I asked Juliette and her answers are as follows:

How many shows have you been in with the LTC?
“6 shows.”(Cinderella, High School Musical, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Pride & Prejudice, and Mean Girls Jr.)
Out of all the dance numbers you have been in, which was your favorite?

“I really liked Jitterbug, from The Wizard of Oz.”
Favorite song that you’ve sung on stage?
“Me personally, Status Quo from High School Musical.
What inspired/prompted you to join theatre?
Do you have any advice for underclassmen?
“Have fun and always try your hardest.”
I also asked some other members of the LTC about Juliette, and got some of their thoughts and opinions about our 3rd senior! The question I asked was: “Describe Juliette in 3-5 words, and tell me what your favorite thing about her is.”
Lacey Crouch
“Extraordinary, awesome, cool, funny, goofy, silly. My favorite thing about her is her laugh, and how much her laugh makes me laugh, that she makes me laugh, and everything I say makes her laugh, and that she is super nice to me!”
Nathanial Vitro
“Bright, funny, sweet, understanding, and chaotic. I like that no matter what she’s going through, she keeps a smile on her face and always tries to make other people’s days better, no matter what struggle she’s going through.”
Sophia Minowa
“Unique, mother, funny, silly, whimsical! My favorite thing about her is her laugh, or just how she is so funny. Like anything could be happening, or literally something could be so unfunny but she will still burst out in to laughter. Her laugh is so contagious and it makes everyone around her laugh with her. And everything she says is just…ridiculous.”
Natalie Hunyor
“Funny, comedic, stunning, and stupid… (in the best way possible). And my favorite thing about her is how funny she is and how she matches my humor so well. Like we could sit and laugh together for hours, and we have… So my funniest twin ever basically!”
Mrs. Peltier
“I would describe Juliette as funny, playful, and a loyal friend. My favorite thing about Juliette is her laugh! Watching her enjoy the company of her friends and finding joy in a moment is her best quality.”
The next senior is Amelia Jones, who has been doing theatre longer than most people in our company! Amelia’s questions and their answers are as follows:
How many shows have you been in with the LTC?
“11 shows” (Princess Bee and the Royal Good-Night Story, Bullets Over Broadway, Grease, Puffs, High School Musical, Radium Girls, Annie, Clue, The Wizard of Oz, Pride & Prejudice, and Mean Girls Jr.”
Out of all the dance numbers you’ve been in, which was your favorite?
“Out of all the dance numbers I’ve been in, probably Merry Old Land Of Oz. It was very fun to do, and I got to wear a really pretty costume.”
Favorite song you’ve sung on stage?
“My favorite song I’ve sung on stage is probably A New Deal for Christmas.”
Favorite show that you have been a part of and why?
“Probably Puffs. The cast was so fun, and it was my first high school show. I got to meet so many new people and make so many new friends.”
Do you have any advice for the underclassmen of the LTC?
“I would say just cherish your time here, and love everybody and make friends. It is hard to come to rehearsal when you don’t get along with anybody, and on the hardest days, if your friends are there, then you’re able to get through it. So really make friends and put yourself out there and audition and try because if you don’t try you’ll never know if you can do it.”
I also asked a few other people of the LTC some questions about Amelia to get some company opinions on our 4th senior.
The question I asked was: “What is your favorite memory with Amelia on stage/rehearsals/etc?” The people I asked, and their answers are as follows:
Malak Saliwa
“ I love when Amelia brings Twizzlers, and then she just walks around with her Twizzlers and big iPad in hand and playing her cute little games and playing music and stuff, it’s always so fun!”
Letica Moreno
“My favorite memory is most definitely tech week, because is it so long, but is so fun! And everyone always has so much fun and everyone has a good time, and Amelia likes to bring her little iPad to tech week and of course its always fun to play on the iPad. It is also really cool to see all of our combined hard work come together!
Sofie De Zwann
“Backstage during The Wizard of Oz for sure, she always hung out with us and would take pictures with us all the time!”
Karina Whitmer
“I love when we hang out on stage and she just comes on stage and just jumps on me, I just love her so much! It’s like a love surge almost…”
Mrs. Peltier
“Honestly, one of my favorite roles of Amelia was when she was in the 6th grade and she played The Queen of Hearts in Alice and the Mad Tea Party. Since then she has developed into more mature acting roles, and it has been fun to watch her grow as an actor over the years. Of course, she is also a joy to watch on stage in her many featured dancing roles! Amelia has been an amazing addition to our company the past 7 years, and I love seeing her laugh with friends at rehearsals and enjoying every experience she is given.”
