This week is the start of our senior spotlights. This week we got the the pleasure to take to Senior #1 Sophie Najar! These are all the questions we asked her to get a little bit of insight about her life and how she spends her time here at Lamphere.

What have you done to pass most of your time at Lamphere? (sports, clubs, ect.)
I’ve done Varsity cheerleading, sideline and competition, for the past 4 years, i’ve done track for the past 2 years and I’ve done lip sync for the pep rallies
What was your favorite class you took at LHS and why?
Art, I like to draw and color and I like the teachers.
Which teacher/staff member has influenced you most and how?
Mrs. Rebecca has influenced me the most. I’ve known her for a long time and she’s like a second mother to me.
What advice do you have for the underclassmen?
Play sports and be as involved as you can, you may think it’s boring now but you’ll look back and wish you did it.
What advice would you go back and give your younger self?
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
What was the most memorable event that happened to you during the past few years?
Ram Rumble is always fun, having everyone you know coming to watch in our home gym helps us a lot and winning it makes it even better.
How do you want to be remembered at school?
I want to be remembered as a sweet person that was a hard worker.
What are your plans for after high school?
Go to college and work a lot. I want to be an ultrasound technician, and hopefully have kids in between that.
