Movie Review: Now you see me, Now you don’t:

I was recently given free tickets to see the premier of “Now you see me, Now you don’t” by Jordan Aaron, a Lamphere Student, who happens to work at MJR Troy. I took my friends, Abdou Njie, Kameron Gooden, with me to go see this movie. Thanks again to Jordan Aaron and MJR for allowing us to go, it was an amazing experience to go see. I have been a long time fan of this franchise, and I was a little worried about this movie as they had kind of kept the last one open ended. I will advise review the whole movie without using any full spoilers. Just so that people can still go watch this amazing movie.

The movie follows a new set of people, named June played by Ariana Greenblatt, Bosco played by Dominic Sessa, and Charlie played by Justice Smith. These 3 play a really good new set of magicians, and I enjoy the acting and the parts they give all 3 of them. I will say the plot was very… basic but it still looked amazing, but they do still have so many good twists and tricks. This movie was the best looking one I have ever seen from the Now You See Me franchise. The CGI looked amazing, it seemed realistic, but the magic was still a bit exaggerated, which will always happen in a magic movie. The acting, the looks, and everything else about this looked really good, and I’m glad I went to this movie review.

My full rating on this movie is 8.5/10. I enjoyed it a lot. A basic plot that had some fun loops and turns, the acting in this movie was phenomenal, and the looks of the movie itself was really good as well. I hope they continue to use this group and keep up the good production. A franchise like this can only get better and better with the more work on production talent and video quality.
