A new era has started on the Lamphere Dance teams. Lamphere’s varsity and JV dance teams both received new warm-ups last Monday night, which were distributed at the end of practice to the teams, where each girl got her own set of warm-ups, which included. A black Nike Zip-up jacket that had each girl’s name embroidered with rhinestones that spell out LHS dance on the back, the logos matched with the top of the athlete’s bag. With a black pair of pants, the bottoms feature a zip-up flare leg for easy access to put on warm-ups with shoes for quick changes. The Lamphere dance team hasn’t had a program warmup since 2019. This year is the first time that there has been a good-sized JV and Varsity dance team, with the JV team having 10 dancers and the Varsity team having 12 dancers. With that, the teams have been able to do things that they haven’t done in a while like the big sis little sis tradition and the matching warmups tradition. The Athletes will get to wear these fun new warm-ups throughout their time on LVDT. The athletes were all very excited to get their new warm-ups for the new season and for the seasons to come. It also gives people who look up to the dance team and want to be on it when they’re in high school, something to look forward to. The athletes will wear these warmups on game days and during competitions, or they can wear them for fun if they choose to. Overall, these warmups give the two teams a more professional and polished look. Plus, the dancers are absolutely in awe with the warmups, and can’t wait to show them off for the rest of the dance season.
