This upcoming November holds a lot of space for movie goers. From “Zootopia” in late November to “Wicked: For Good” in the middle of the month, people are excited to see the sequels for both franchises. For today’s article, I decided to put my focus on “Wicked: For Good” and say a few predictions for what viewers could see in theaters on November 20th. Some of these are from my own accord, and others are from friends I interviewed.
DISCLAIMER: These are only speculations and my assumptions plus other’s assumptions. These do not represent the movie and Universal Pictures.
Prediction One: Fiyero and Elphaba might have something big happen between them. Due to my small knowledge on “Wicked” as a franchise, I had to do some research regarding the romantic aspects in the story. So, in the source material (the musical and the original book), Fiyero and Elphaba’s romantic connection are confirmed to be canon since they share a lovely moment after [REDACTED FOR SPOILERS].
Prediction Two: Glinda and Elphaba change their fate. Their reunion has already been confirmed due to the few trailers that’ve been popping up on social media platforms. But I’m predicting that when the girls reunite, they’ll try to rewrite what’s “supposed” to happen to them and switch things up.
Prediction Three: Fiyero uses his position to help Elphaba and Glinda (mainly Elphaba since she’s in the most trouble). In the trailers, Fiyero has been shown as the general or head man of the guards in Emerald City; which means he’d have a lot of power as far as defending his wife and the girl he actually loves. Really messy love triangle…
Predictions From Others
Prediction Four: Mrs. Villerot locks in her prediction: she thinks that it’ll make everyone cry while being a beautiful ending to a story.
Prediction Five: Troy Hill, an avid fan of the movie, predicts that Ariana’s new song will be a ballad, she’ll talk about the pressure of the expectations she’s being held to, and about being a good samaritan to all of Oz.
Overall, people are anticipating the release of “Wicked: For Good” and have various predictions regarding what they might see in theaters. Remember to mark your calendars for November 20th since that is the release date for the movie!
