Our leadership class at LHS consists of many people. However, one student in particular that stands out is junior, Eythan Mozeb. On Friday, October 10th we had our 2nd annual Kiddie Carnival. Eythan, through his work in the leadership class, got about 200 pumpkins donated for this event. The pumpkins were used at one of the many carnival booths; kids were able to select their own (free) pumpkin and paint it. When we asked how he managed to accomplish this he said, “I used pathos and made them feel bad for me so I could get pumpkins.” Mrs Vickers calls him the “sponsor king” and says he’s a great hustler and doing an amazing job at getting all the sponsors they need. When we asked him if he liked leading things like this he told us, “I enjoy it because it gives me something to do, and I like helping people.” One question that was on a few people’s minds was how he discovered he had this talent. To this Eythan responded, “I don’t know, I just figured it out as I was doing it.” Since he didn’t know he could do this before, he is really putting the things he learns in his leadership class to use. We were curious about what big projects were coming in the future and he told us, “I plan to get more donations for future big projects if needed.” We are all very excited to see what big things Eythan has in store for us. Thank you for all of your hard work, Eythan!
