The BIGGEST week of the year is here!
The leadership class just announced the homecoming spirit week themes last week. The daily themes are as follows:
- Monday: character day – you can dress as your favorite character TV show, or movie, or you can dress up with your friends
- Tuesday: rhyme without a reason – an example of this is djs and pjs, so one of you will dress up as djs and the other one will dress up as pjs
- Wednesday: jersey day – where your favorite jersey from your favorite player or sports team
- Thursday: college life – dress as a sorority girl, frat boy, or however you imagine college life
- Friday: class colors -each grade will where their own class colors, which are as follows
Freshman – purple
Sophomore – yellow
Juniors – pink
Seniors – green
The Friday schedule for class will be the early release schedule, and at the end of sixth hour, over the announcements, they will release classes. Then you and your 6th hour class will walk to your floats to walk down to the football field for hoco games and performances. Before the transition to the field, all non-class-sponsor teachers will vote on which float is their overall favorite. Once you arrive at the field, you will see all of the homecoming games and the homecoming floats. After the pep rally, you can go home. Later that same night at the game, it will be announced which grade won the float contest.
Don’t forget to buy your homecoming tickets before the end of this week if you want to attend the homecoming dance, which is on Saturday, October 11th from 6-9pm.
