The 10th wonderful senior that we got to interview was Mckenna Ricard!
What have you done to pass most of your time at Lamphere? (sports, clubs, ect.)
To pass the time over the years, I played sports – cross country and soccer.
What was your favorite class you took at LHS and why?
My favorite class I took at Lamphere was probably economics because I had it with my friends, and I did very well the whole semester. Mr.Vallus made the class really engaging and fun as well.
Which teacher/staff member has influenced you most and how?
A staff member who has influenced me the most would probably be Mr.Vallus. He was always positive and hardworking which led me to be more like that in my classes.
What advice do you have for the underclassmen?
My advice for the underclassmen would be to give their best efforts in class as they might not think it matters but it will eventually. Another piece of advice is to work hard and participate in extracurricular activities.
What advice would you go back and give your younger self?
Get work done on time and procrastinate less.
What was the most memorable event that happened to you during the past few years and why?
Probably winning homecoming queen and committing to run cross country. Both are things I would have never expected in my freshman year.
How do you want to be remembered at school?
Being a good person, student, and teammate/athlete.
What are your plans for after high school?
My plans for after high school are to continue my academic and athletic career running cross country for Macomb Community College and then transferring to a university. I hope to achieve a career in either nursing or optometry.
