The Lamphere Theatre Company is a very important part of so many people’s lives here at Lamphere High School. It is a community and family that cherishes integrity, love, and fun memories with each other. One of the traditions that seniors in the LTC take part in every graduating year is writing a sentimental message and singing their names up in Heaven; Heaven is a place above the Lamphere auditorium where the theatre department keeps large costumes like dresses and suits, all of our shoes, and old prop pieces from older shows. This tradition has been taking place within the LTC for a very long time. The earliest we can find so far is 2011. Granted that there is a lot of singing room in Heaven and a lot of stuff up there, we may be missing some, but that is the earliest signature so far!
With the seniors of the LTC just recently closing up on this spring’s production of Mean Girls Jr., I figured it would be perfect to showcase some of our seniors’ signatures.
Our senior class this year consisted of:
Troy Hill
Juliette Johns
Amelia Jones
Nathanial Vitro
Jordan Aaron
Kyleigh Cabral
Nina Deych
Kaylee Stong
Amari Beverly
Lilly Miller
Aven Noble
Karina Whitmer
Amber-Lynn Tannehill
Chloe Vaughn
Malak Saliwa
While not everyone took a picture of their writing, the ones we do have perfectly showcase this tradition.
