What have you done to pass most of your time at Lamphere? (sports, clubs, ect.)
- Most of my time at Lamphere has been made up of sports including varsity football and swimming. Other than that I also am involved in many extra curriculars like NHS, ALC, Link-Crew, and Med-Club.
What was your favorite class you took at LHS and why?
- My favorite class I took at lamphere most likely was Anatomy, with Miss Mouw I enjoyed this class because I got to have hands-on experience with something I am interested in focusing on in the future. yes it was a tough class and challenging but I thought it was cool ideas and topics we were learning about especially dealing with your own human body which you have to deal with every single day. and Miss Mouw is a great teacher to be around and makes a genuine connection with a lot of her students.
Which teacher/staff member has influenced you most and how?
- The teacher that has influenced me most has probably been either Mrs. Vickers or Mrs Dominic, their guidance in teaching helped me get through not just their own classes but other classes alike. including teaching me skills that I can use in the real world and developing a meaningful connection and relationship.
What advice do you have for the underclassmen?
- I know it sounds cliche but most likely the advice I would give to underclassmen would be to live in the moment because time goes by fast and you have to enjoy it while it lasts. also I would say to give your best effort and everything you do, if you’re already there might as well do the work too and not waste both your times
What advice would you go back and give your younger self?
- Advice I give most to me and yourself is kind of similar to what I give to an underclassmen, but it would be to focus more on academics and building relationships rather than Sports and others as much I would focus on building connections because once high school is done you won’t see most people you see everyday.
What was the most memorable event that happened to you during the past few years?
- Most likely my most memorable event in the past few years was in my junior year when me and my relay team made States for swimming by 17 of a second. It was most memorable because our team worked really hard for so many weeks on end training for that last race and then eventually went to the States and won our heat as well. and in doing that we also made the Mac School record.
How do you want to be remembered at school?
- I want to be remembered as someone who was nice/kind to everyone, someone that would listen to you while you talk and be a genuine person if you ever needed anything. A positive person and I would say a funny guy to be around.
What are your plans for after high school?
- My plans for after high school at this moment are to attend Oakland University for 1 to 2 years and major in biology / pre-med and work to become a sports medicine doctor. And look to hopefully go to med school. And maybe transfer to Michigan or stay for the full 4 years depending on my future situations
