On Friday March 20th, in the afternoon, our LHS students participated in Ram Jam. During Ram Jam students are allowed to sign up for a different activity, which are hosted by the different LHS teachers. There were options from weightlifting all the way to bedazzling different items. During this time students are allowed to take a small break from learning and relax without the stress of school work and getting a better chance to connect with other students and teachers in a fun environment.
Student Opinions:
Kaitlyn Carson: “I went to Lemieux, we did cupcakes. It was fun, especially because of the people I was with. It was funny.”
Haylie Hart: “I was in Domsic’s room, I kind of just slept. It was fun and relaxing though.”
Lillian Miller: “I went to Mrs. VIllerots bedazzling books. It was nice and chill which was nice.”
Kaylee Strong: “I also went to Mrs. Villerot’s room. It was very peaceful and I just locked in and it felt so short.”
Troy Hill: “I went to spikeball with Novak and Vallus in the lobby. I think it was set up really well and organized and everyone had a lot of fun.”
Overall this is a super fun way for students to do something fun and relaxing in a usual work based place, this is something the student body looks forward to doing as a way to just take away stress and focus on something yet still engaging and building skills in the classrooms.
