WIth the 2026 season around the corner we are seeing a few new changes to the season one of them being a new Rookie Arvid Lindblad, he started his racing journey at the age of 5 which now led to being the Protégé for F1 team Racing Bulls at the age of 18. He has worked hard through those 13 years to get the F1 seat he has today. With that being said here is a little recap/biography of who Arvid Lindblad is not only as a racer but as a person. While still highlighting his F1 career.
Life
Arvid Lindblad is Swedish-Indian, he was in London, England where he was raised by his Indian mother and Swedish father, which is how he got his unique Swedish name. Free time outside of racing he enjoys skateboarding and spending time with his family. Recently on social media we also see him make some indian dishes with his nana. While he is quite occupied with other aspects of life he is still trying to put a good effort in academics, he is working on getting his A- levels focusing on Math and chemistry when it comes to the subjects he is learning. So while racing is a really big part of his life he tries to find a balance when it comes to the aspects of life. Helping him live a successful and fulfilling life, while still being able to enjoy living, especially being so young. As of now he is in full time F1 mode with his first season just around the corner.
Racing Career
Arvid began his racing career at the young age of 5 where he went on to competitive karting at 11 where he was karting against Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, at only the age of 13 he went on to join the junior red bull racing program. Going from karts to cars he goes on to F4 which he rapidly masters and moves on to being the youngest F3 driver in 2024 at the age of 16. After that same year he won both sprints and a feature race of the iconic silverstone. In September of 2024 he had a rapid move to F2 where he joined the respected Capos racing team where he was titled the youngest person to win a race in F2 sprint. With that natural talent it would just be a matter of time before the big teams started calling. For Arvid F1 was always the dream so being able to take this step at only 18 years old is a very proud moment for him and his family.
Future
With this natural talent Arvid has a bright future ahead of him in the life of racing, making his F1 debut with the Racing Bulls F1 team he has already shown us the hard work he puts into racing and he isn’t stopping now with testing ending just a few days ago we saw positive testing with him driving a total of 240 laps during the 3 day period he was ranked 2nd overall in number of laps. He didn’t only impress us but he also left his team impressed with how calm, and professional he is, comparing him to Isack Hadjar who later last season got promoted to Red Bull Racing. At this period he is taking in all the knowledge he can, asking lots of questions and taking in all the advice he can. With this mentality and natural talent it seems that he will go far with his F1 career. We are excited to see how his career is going to change now living his dream of having an F1 seat.
