This year our boys soccer team had a successful season, winning most of their matches and making it to district finals! As the season has come to an end their coach Rachel Vickers is proud of their hard work and many wins. The team received their awards to end the season receiving all district and all league awards.

The all league award is given to the top contributors of the team. 12 players from all teams in the whole MAC league are given this award. On Lamphere’s team this award was given to senior Ryan Allen for being a strong goalie, freshman Murphy Whalen for his skill on defense, and junior Giorgio Kourtesis for scoring 30 goals over the season.

Another award given was the all district award. In our district the coaches vote for players after district finals to receive this. This is a big achievement to earn as it is over 20 schools and is up for all regions and

state. Lamphere and Divine Child were given the most votes for players. This award was given to Giorgio Kortesis, Abdou Njie, Josh Cox, Kaiden McClure, and Ryan Allen!  Mrs. Vickers is very proud of the team’s success this season and is looking forward to coaching again next year and coaching our girls soccer season. She would also like to again spotlight Giorgio Kourtesis for earning the highest honors. Congrats to the awarded people and congrats to the team for a great season!
