Here at Lamphere High School we have a wonderful therapy dog, Stevie.
She loves doing her job. She lives with the Crouch family who adores her. Stevie has been working here for 4 years. Stevie always manages to put a smile on the students faces regardless of what they are going through that day. When we brought her into class she put a smile on everybody’s faces. While taking Stevie on a walk around the school we stopped and asked a few students and staff members how Stevie makes them feel.
Kaiden McClure-“Stevie makes me feel very happy, warm and cuddly.”
Mr. Belyea-“I think I make her really nervous and she’s scared.”
Lacey Crouch- “She makes me feel calm and I wish she was brought to more of my classes.”
Graden Patyk-”Stevie makes me feel really happy and safe, I really like the dog, she gives me a sense of ease and I feel like she could protect me.”
Coach O .-“She makes me happy since she’s the only one who listens around here.”
