Karina Witmer balances the responsibilities of being the class historian and social media manager alongside her commitments to swim and wrestling, all while managing her schoolwork. I asked her how she successfully juggles these demanding roles.
Being a student is already a full-time job, especially for seniors. Maintaining motivation can be challenging, yet Karina rises to the occasion daily. While participating in wrestling and swimming, she also takes on the roles of class historian and social media manager for the Class of 2026. It may sound overwhelming, but she approaches her responsibilities with determination and resilience.
When I inquired about managing her dual roles, Karina acknowledged that it’s not easy. “It’s extremely difficult, but I get through it,” she said. Her motivation comes from her desire to bring people together. She actively posts about events and student activities, creating opportunities for her classmates to connect and make lasting memories.
Looking ahead, Karina aspires to attend medical school. More immediately, she aims to leave a legacy defined by kindness and a positive impact. “It’s extremely difficult, but I get through it,” she reiterated.
Karina shared that her junior year has been the most challenging of her high school career, but she has learned and grown from the experience, shaping her into who she is today. She encourages everyone to find motivation in their struggles and to seek support from those they can rely on during tough times.
Her primary goals include “getting into a really good college and improving my GPA.” She attributes her success to how she treats others, emphasizing the importance of being friendly and approachable. “Being kind to others gets you far.”
We eagerly anticipate what the future holds, and we can count on Karina Witmer, our senior class historian and social media manager, to ensure we have an amazing school year filled with memories and guided by kindness!
