Seniors 2026 Fall Football Season.
Every year at our last home game of the regular season we recognize our seniors and their amazing accomplishments, through their year or their years at Lamphere High school. I took the time to interview some of our athletes on Football, Sideline Dance, Marching band, Color Guard and Sideline Cheer. They had amazing things to say to some of my questions. We wish them luck on their chapters ending and new ones beginning.

Logan Henkel (Football)~
What are your favorite parts about Football through all your years with the rams?
“All the memories I have but also getting to hangout with the seniors throughout the years that I looked up to, now I’m able to be the one the freshman look up to. I love being a role model.”
What is some advice you would give the incoming freshman Football players for next year?

“The first few years try to keep your head down, It’s not worth it to argue with people on the field. Once you get older try and become a leader.”
Are you on the happier side or sadder side about this year coming to a close?
“I’m in the middle, I am happy about the wrestling season starting to come up, but I’m on the sad side because this year isn’t what we wanted but it’s happening.”
Lillian Miller (Dance)~
What are your favorite parts about Dance through all your years with the rams?
“Preparing to perform during half times at the games and competitions but also the team bonding that we do, It allows you to see everyone and get to know them as a person.”

What is some advice you would give the incoming freshman Dancers for next year?
“That you got this and don’t lose confidence in yourself, lots of dances lose confidence in themselves it makes them forget the dance. So don’t second guess yourself! You Got This!”

Are you on the happier side or sadder side about this year coming to a close?
“I am on the sappy side, I am excited to graduate and branch out during the coming season but this also means my cheer chapter is starting to come to a close.”

Gabriella Novak (Marching band)~
What are your favorite parts about the Marching band through all your years with the Rams?
“Definitely meeting new people and getting to grow as a band in a community and just like building a bond with people we don’t really get to see outside of it especially like underclassmen that are still in middle school. You get to have a great friendship with them.’
What is some advice you would give the incoming middle school Marching band players for next year?

“Be ready for commitment! It’s a lot of time and a lot of effort. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself when it comes to scores and just in general. Just let yourself have fun. Remember that this is like a club and it’s not your whole life.”
Are you on the happier side or sadder side about this year coming to a close?
“I’m more on the happy side, like I’m happy to see it go because i’ve put in so much time and now i’ll get more time to myself. But I’m also sad That I won’t be doing again and I’ve made more friends this year.”

Nina Deychn (Color Guard)~
What are your favorite parts about Color Guard through all your years with the rams?
“Being able to show an audience of everything we worked on is really exciting and I always look forward to it. Another one of my favorite parts of Color Guard is the community, everyone is always so supportive of everything that goes into this performing art. “
What is some advice you would give the incoming middle school Color Guard players for next year?

“Color Guard is a challenging activity that takes time and practice to get comfortable with, giving up without accepting the challenge would also be giving up the experience of everything that Color Guard does.”
Are you on the happier side or sadder side about this year coming to a close?
“I am on the sad side that this season is ending but I also feel that it has to end. At some point I will have to move on and try new experiences with different Guards and Marching Bands.”

Hailey Williams (Cheer)~
What’s your favorite part about Cheer throughout your years as a ram?
“Growing up with the same group of people and continuing to build those bonds.”
What is some advice you would give the incoming freshman Cheerleaders for next year?
“Don’t be afraid to speak up. If something doesn’t feel right tell someone. Your

apart of the team now so you’d like to put your all into it and give your all if not “don’t be there”.”
Are you on the happier side or the sadder side about this year coming to a close?
“I’m definitely sad about this year coming to a close. Because I’ve been doing this since I was four, I won’t be doing it in college so it’s definitely sad, I’m also happy to see where this team goes till the end of this year and how far we get
for my senior year.”
