This year, Lamphere High School held its second annual Kiddie Carnival. Mrs. Vickers and the leadership class organized the event for October 10th from 4-6 pm. The free event took place at the school’s tennis courts.
Kids enjoyed many hands-on activities throughout the evening. Mrs. Vickers did hair tinsel while children decorated pumpkins and got temporary tattoos. They also got face paint. The colorful decorated pumpkins overjoyed everyone. Seeing the children’s excitement made the event even more special. The visiting firetruck was a big hit as kids got to feel how heavy the fire hose really was!

Beyond these creative activities, the carnival also featured fun games like Candyland and bean bag toss. Laughter echoed across the courts as winners earned prizes, and everyone enjoyed snow cones to cool off. Families gathered around tables with cider and fresh donuts, enjoying the crisp autumn evening.
Throughout the night, the whole school community came together for this special event before homecoming. The tennis courts buzzed with excited voices and activity all evening long. Then everyone made their way to the football field for the football game.
